I told you I've been busy

We made these 2 projects on my October workshop the "kindness" card uses the scalloped medallion technique and the "warm wishes" card uses the brayered sky technique... Thanks for looking!!!

Hey, Look what I've been doing!!!

I'M THE WORST FRIEND EVER.... Let me explain, So, My best friend had her first baby about 2 month ago, and although I've been in contact with ther calling her often, offering my advice.. I have not visited her, thanks to the internet and picture text messages, I have seen the baby, so I'm not that bad right?? Is not that I don't want to, She lives in L.A and those freeways are scary, and that's pretty much it... But I did get her a bunch of things, I sent her all my pregnancy, baby, & baby name books that help me alot with my 3 kids, and being the crafty person that I am, I also made this for her baby... Cute isn't it, I hope she likes it and she doesn't think I'm the worst friend ever... Thanks for Looking!!!

Baby name Frame

I recently made this frame for a friend at work who is having a baby, this frame was so easy to make I just used the classic star jumbo wheel for the back ground, I used my cricut for the letters, my star punches for accents, the little rocket is from the pun fun set, and the little alien guy is from the cat's pajamas. all the letter and accents are actually on pop up dots, you can't tell on this picture, it look way better IRL... Thanks For Looking!!

Come and Stamp With Me !!

I am in the midst of putting together my classes for fall, and was wondering if YOU would like to join? See how many qualifications you meet :

1. Do you like stamping / scrapbooking and learning new techniques?
2. Could you use a night for yourself once a month?
3. Would you like to meet other people who share your passion for paper crafting?
4. Are you in the VictorValley area?

How would you like to receive FREE product without any work for you at all?
If you answered "YES" to any one of these questions, my Stampin' Splurge is for YOU! You would be in a class of only 8 or 10 ladies, all with the same passion as you - to stamp and have fun doing it. The expense is only $20 a month, less than a coffee a day, and you get to take projects home out of the deal. I teach the classes IN MY HOME, so you never have to clean up your house for the workshop. This also means you get to use what is in my craft room - it is too hard to take it all with me to your place.
Being in the Club also GUARANTEES that you have a qualifying show when it is your turn to be the hostess. If you do choose, you can have a show in your home prior, to combine them for even more free product. Contact me at Flowerfive01@msn.com if you are interested...

Name Frames

I made these frames for my friend's daughter's Bday party. I did them really quick the day of the party, I had been working all week and that was my only day off that week. I used my cricut (see Deb I use what you gave me) for the letters, I got a bunch of those frames a while ago from the dollar store, and those stickers are again from my favorite store that I just happen to work in and love it ,Target. The background is stamped with that vine stamp from doodle this and I also did some paper piercing... They came out really cute and everybody at the party loved them.. Thanks For Looking....

I can't decide!!

I made this 2 cards for my little niece's bday, and I couldn't decide which one to send her, My DH didn't like the "I stink you're sweet" one because of the stink part, but it's a skunk, it's cute right, anyway I ended up sending her the Happy b-day one but I liked them both, I sent the other one to my other sister so It didn't go to waste, again I used my left over paper from my merci card, and I also used this pattern cardstock from target it has the sticky already so all I do is peel and stick. Which one do you guys like better....

Wonderful sister card

I made this card for my sister's b-day, I had some left over paper from my merci card so I just used what I had just changed it up a little....
Cardstock: green celery, regal rose, white.
Inks: green celery, regal rose and black
stamps: barroque motifs, wonderful favorites..TFL

Dahlia Fold Card

Here's card # 2 of my April workshop. We did the Dahlia fold, I realized it was a lot of folding, so I decided to do the little buds instead of the whole flower, overall I think it came up really nice, all my customes liked it, they weren't very happy about all the folding at first but they were pretty happy on how their cards turned out... TFL!

You're a blast!

Ok, so after one of my friends saw the card I made for somebody at work ( love machine 2), she really liked it, so I decided to make it for my stampin club but I had to change it to all SU products, and this is what I came up with, this card went perfect with the free wheeling promotion, because when you buy this set (Pun Fun) you get the wheel for free!!, And it was also perfect for this new technique I've been wanting to try, blending pure color pencils with odorless mineral spirits, which is what I did on the rocket... Thanks a bunch box

Ok, so yesterday I had to work and my husband was going to pick up our son at the bus stop from kindergarten, He must have been sleeping pretty deep because he didn't hear the alarm going off or the phone (when I was calling him from work), that he didn't picked him up, so the bus driver took him to finish her route and came back to my house, my husband still sleeping, my son knocked on our bedroom window until he woke up and let him in... so I made this for her for staying with my son and calming him down. I got the template from Lauren Meader, I found her blog while I was blog hopping, there are alot of cool blogs outhere I learn a lot from them. Anyway, I used purely pomegranate cardstock for the box, very vanilla, old olive and whisper white for the outside, the stamps are, both way blossoms (retired) and one smart cookie for the tag , check out the tag is made with 5 punches, well 6 if you count the 1/16 hole punch for the brads. Here is a link for instructions from Lauren's blog. Thanks for Looking!!!http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2007/11/10/saturday-sketch-boxed-bag-holder/

what does your birth date mean??

Your Birthdate: February 10

Independent and dominant, you tend to be the alpha dog in most situations.

You're very confident, and hardly anything ever shakes you.

Mundane tasks tend to drain you - you prefer to be making great plans.

You are quite original. When people don't "get" you, it bothers you a lot.

Your strength: Your ability to gain respect

Your weakness: Caring too much what others think

Your power color: Orange-red

Your power symbol: Letter X

Your power month: October

Love machine card #2

I made a love machine card before and it was a hit with my coworkers, that a friend of mine asked me to make her one. I didn't want to make the same one so I did this one using my Pun Fun set from Stampin Up, I watercolored the space ship and the little alien guy from the cat's pajamas is done with pure color pencils and odorless mineral spirits, background stamps are also from the cat's pajamas... Thanks for looking!

This is what my name means...

What Flor Means
You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings.
You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun.
Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

male valentine card

I was asked to make a male valentine card. I'm not sure if this is manly enough, the hearts from the background are from love matters (retired).... thanks for looking.....

love machine card

I got this set from the stampin convention in Riverside in January, this set is from the cat's pajamas company, I don't usually buy rubber stamps from another company other than stampin up, but I just loved this little guy and the sentiment. I watercolored the little robot, and used the stampin up punches for the sentiment. I just love this set I think I have to buy the other set that coordinates with this one... We'll see.... Thanks for looking....

valentine treat

I learned how to make these at the stampin convetion in Riverside last month, and they couldn't be any easier, so We made them at my last club meeting. all you need is four punches, the 2 tag punches for the tag, the scalloped circle punch (2) for the sides and the square punch for the bottom, tape the candy to the bottom, so it stays better, punch a hole for the ribbon ( I guess that would make it 5 punches) and youre done, they're cute and easy...

baby shower invite

I made 20 of these for my niece's baby shower. I used my cricut for the circle and scalloped circle, watercolored the bear and used Julie's technique of dry embossing using the cropadile. it's a pull out style card, I think they came out really cute...
