Dahlia Fold Card

Here's card # 2 of my April workshop. We did the Dahlia fold, I realized it was a lot of folding, so I decided to do the little buds instead of the whole flower, overall I think it came up really nice, all my customes liked it, they weren't very happy about all the folding at first but they were pretty happy on how their cards turned out... You're a blast!

Ok, so after one of my friends saw the card I made for somebody at work ( love machine 2), she really liked it, so I decided to make it for my stampin club but I had to change it to all SU products, and this is what I came up with, this card went perfect with the free wheeling promotion, because when you buy this set (Pun Fun) you get the wheel for free!!, And it was also perfect for this new technique I've been wanting to try, blending pure color pencils with odorless mineral spirits, which is what I did on the rocket... Thanks a bunch box

Ok, so yesterday I had to work and my husband was going to pick up our son at the bus stop from kindergarten, He must have been sleeping pretty deep because he didn't hear the alarm going off or the phone (when I was calling him from work), that he didn't picked him up, so the bus driver took him to finish her route and came back to my house, my husband still sleeping, my son knocked on our bedroom window until he woke up and let him in... so I made this for her for staying with my son and calming him down. I got the template from Lauren Meader, I found her blog while I was blog hopping, there are alot of cool blogs outhere I learn a lot from them. Anyway, I used purely pomegranate cardstock for the box, very vanilla, old olive and whisper white for the outside, the stamps are, both way blossoms (retired) and one smart cookie for the tag , check out the tag is made with 5 punches, well 6 if you count the 1/16 hole punch for the brads. Here is a link for instructions from Lauren's blog. Thanks for Looking!!!http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2007/11/10/saturday-sketch-boxed-bag-holder/
